'El Resumen' 12.11.09: Aragones for Real Madrid?


Messi crowned 2009 king of Spanish football with Marca's Di Stefano Trophy; presented by Argentina head coach, Diego Maradona, and the main man himself Alfredo Di Stefano. The trophy is awarded every year to Spain's most consistent performer in all competitions (League, Copa del Rey, Spanish Super Cup and Internationals).

Pelligrini arrived late for Madrid training this morning, to howls of laughter from the first team squad. Poor guy musn't be getting much sleep right now. 

Madrid manager has apparently been given until 'El Clasico' with Barcelona on Nov 29 to save his job. The fan's favourite to take over is ex-Spain coach Luis Aragones.
